R18, primul cruiser BMW, tocmai a ajuns în România. Il așteptam demult și suntem primii care au pus mâna pe el. L-am testat în oraș, pe autostradă, și pe viraje, ca să vedem cum merge, nu doar cum arată.
Și merge bine. Bine de tot. La un moment dat mi-am zis ca merge mai bine decât arată. Iar acel moment a fost când trăgeam de gaz între 2.000 și 3.500 de rotații pe minut – este locul unde motocicleta asta se simte cel mai bine și unde intră în acțiune tot cuplul de 160 NM.
BMW R18 arată ca un gentleman și te face să mergi cu el ca un huligan. Cel puțin, acesta a fost efectul asupra mea, atunci când am auzit sunetul evacuării și când am simțit forța cu care împinge. Dar să revenim la asptect, pentru că este una dintre cele mai frumoase motociclete de pe piață. Liniile clasice sunt inspirate de la BMW R5, lansată în 1936. De acolo provine arhitectura motorului, linia cadrului, cardanul cu articulația din spate lăsată la vedere.
Motocicleta a ajuns deja la dealerii din România și prețul pornește de la 22.900 de euro, în echiparea standard. Versiunea noastră de test costă 25.200 de euro.
